A Note from Drazenka Kimpel

I guess curiosity got you to this page and since the main point of your interest is art, I will keep this section short.

I was born in Zagreb, Croatia one early June morning. My creative talent has been noted very early by the teachers and students, which gave me enough fuel to carry on with doodles and mess of paint and chalk.

I’ve crossed over to digital art world in 2001. Since then my path has been open wide. I’ve experimented with a variety of different programs and techniques; trying to find my artistic self. Some projects were success and some were failures but I persisted and continued to learn.

The portfolio presented in these galleries is a collection of my work, created from 2003 - to date.  The variety ranges from fantasy painting and pencil sketches to design for print and web. Every single image has been a joyful adventure throughout the creative process. I am proud in the ability to be versatile and apply different techniques in any project that comes my way.

Currently, I reside in South Florida and work as a freelance graphics designer and illustrator.
